Building Use Guidelines
Purpose & Stewardship
Our building is a gift from the Lord, entrusted to us for the ministry of the gospel and the good of His people. We are grateful to share this space with members and regular attenders for events that reflect Christlike character and serve our church family well.
Use of the facility is not a rental arrangement but a shared stewardship. We aim to care for the building together with order, respect, and responsibility.
Who May Request Use
Building use is available to:
Members of Vintage Faith Church
Regular attenders (subject to approval)
All requests require approval from a Pastor or Elder. Approval is dependent on the church calendar and ministry priorities.
Scheduling & Approval
To request use of the building:
Submit your request with the date, time, and nature of the event.
Await approval from a Pastor or Elder.
Once approved, confirm access details and room setup needs.
Requests should be made with reasonable advance notice to allow for scheduling and communication.
Fees
There is no standard fee for building use for members or regular attenders.
However, during the winter season, if your event requires an additional snow plowing beyond our normal service schedule, the cost of plowing (currently $150 per occurrence) will be the responsibility of the individual requesting the event.
If you would like to make a voluntary gift to the church in gratitude for the use of the building, you are welcome to do so, though it is never required.
Facility Expectations
Those requesting use of the building agree to the following:
No alcohol, illegal drugs, or unlawful activity on church property.
All conduct, music, and media used during the event should reflect Christlike character.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Only approved individuals may operate the sound system or A/V equipment.
No access to offices, storage areas, or restricted spaces unless specifically authorized.
The kitchen may be used respectfully and left clean.
Events must conclude at a reasonable hour and the building secured promptly after use.
Decorations and personal items may not be stored on church property without prior approval.
Church leadership reserves the right to revoke building use if these guidelines are not followed.
Setup & Cleanup Responsibilities
The building should be returned to its original condition after your event.
Before leaving:
Remove all trash and place it in designated bins.
Return tables and chairs to their original arrangement.
Wipe down surfaces as needed.
Clean the kitchen if used.
Ensure bathrooms are left orderly.
Turn off lights.
Adjust thermostats if necessary.
Lock all doors securely.
Our cleaning crew prepares the building for Sunday services. Events should not create additional burden or disruption to that preparation.
Equipment & Sound System
The sound system and stage equipment may only be operated by individuals approved by church leadership.
No stage equipment, instruments, or technical components may be moved or altered without permission.
Responsibility & Liability
The individual requesting use of the facility assumes responsibility for the event and for all individuals in attendance.
Vintage Faith Church is not responsible for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage occurring during the event. Any damage to church property resulting from the event may require repair or replacement at the expense of the responsible party.
Agreement
By requesting and receiving approval for building use, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to abide by these guidelines.
